Training Tips for Well-Behaved RV Dogs

In the beginning, we went to Puppy School, then Basic Training and worked one-on-one with a Professional Dog Trainer. All of this before we hit the road in our RV, so Simon and Prudence started off on the right foot to begin with. Going into it, though, there were a couple of areas that I knew were going to be issues. I’m sure you can relate. If you know your dog, you know the problem areas and as much as you’d like to think they won’t come up when you are in a new place, the real truth is by-golly they will come up and most times they will be bigger and not necessarily better. The thing to remember here is the anxiety and stress level of your furbaby and to help but not harm when training them for good behavior.
