A Facelift for Figment
Figment was a bargain. We purchased her this year, 2025, in early Augus after discovering her on the internet. She was listed in the previously-owned section of a local Mercedes dealership. She looked pretty and the price was fair, so off we went, all the way saying to ourselves and each other, “We are just looking - no buying. Do not buy this thing. Wait. Shop around.” We were dead-set on not buying that day. No sir. No way. Not gonna happen. And then, we bought it. I think we had buyer’s remorse for the first 24-48 hours because of our promise to each other, but after a couple of days of poking around the camper and the chassis, our remorse flipped around to become delight and we have remained enamored ever since.
She was in fantastic shape, but in need of a little help here and there. Besides her style being a little outdated, her seats were ready for retirement -bprobably a couple of years ago. The Naugahyde was “done” and trying its best to escape, tiny piece by itty-bitty piece. It peeled and flaked and flaked and flaked and flakes]dBe clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
